SOLIBAD
– Solidarity and Badminton

The primary objective of SOLIBAD is to raise funds within the global community of badminton, with the help of both amateur and professional players, and to donate the money raised to various local projects, some of which are badminton related, and that have been chosen carefully for their sustainability.

SOLIBAD's pledges :
- 100 % of all funds will be assigned to the projects
that have been selected but all of the administrative costs will be fully covered by our partners.

- Epicurians with Solidarity SOLIBAD’s objectives will be carried out with generosity and a joyful spirit.

Korea's Lee Yong Dae generous to SOLIBAD

Korea's mixed double Badminton Olympic champion Lee Yong Dae donated 10 million Korean Won (8700 US$)  to SOLIBAD - Badminton without Borders, on Thursday, in Seoul, before the kick off of the second day of the Korea Badminton Open.

Pi Hongyan, Global Ambassador and Peter Gade, Special Ambassador for Solibad, received the cheque from the Korean wonder on behalf of the Worldwide Charity Foundation, for a ceremony was shown on SBS, Korea's National TV channel.

Czech's Petr Koukal sends new hopes for Haiti

Petr Koukal and his friends in Czech Republic gathered 2500 € which will be sent to Haiti for the second part of the project 1000 rackets for Haiti, a joint program from Solibad and Peace and Sport.

The charity project "1000 rackets Rackets for Haiti"  was given a boost in the Czech Republic from October 2010 to March 2011, within the local badminton scene. And it was very successful, officially led by the top Czech badminton player Petr Koukal jr., Ambassador for  [ ... ]

Here is the official page of a new world wide record : the biggest ever Worldwide Flashmob, for Solibad and Badminton. This happenned on the first "Solibad Day", on June 5th 2011.

SOLIBAD and YOU entered History. We will be back in 2012....







June 5th 2011, Solibad entered History by breaking the record of the world's biggest Flashmob.
Hundreds of people from more than 60 cities, 40 countries on all 5 continents celebrated SOLIBAD Day with a dance as a badminton routine.
